Role Overview

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the production process in a digital printing environment. This role requires strong communication skills, project management expertise, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with suppliers to establish quality standards, negotiate prices, and agree on delivery timelines.
  2. Develop and monitor production schedules, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal efficiency.
  3. Work closely with maintenance technicians to resolve production hold-ups and maintain seamless operations.
  4. Partner with in-house design, sales, and quality control teams to drive production goals.
  5. Identify training needs for production staff and develop strategies to enhance their skills.
  6. Conduct regular performance reviews to evaluate team members' progress.
Job Specification
  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this role.
  2. Project management experience, including team leadership and development, is crucial.
  3. Strong organizational and planning abilities are necessary to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  4. The ability to work under pressure and think creatively is vital in this dynamic environment.
  5. Proficiency in computer-aided design software is preferred.
  6. A minimum of 4 years' experience in textile production, particularly in printing and/or finishing of fabrics, is required.
