Hiring and Talent Development Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hiring and Talent Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Line Manager in end-to-end recruitment processes, including initial screening of CVs, shortlisting candidates for interviews, conducting tests, background checks, and complete documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Headhunt Retail staff and collect their resumes from various sources to streamline the hiring process and fill vacant positions in a timely manner.
  • Handle day-to-day HR operations functions and duties with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees through open communication and cooperation.
  • Coordinate employee recognition programs and events to boost morale and engagement.
  • Properly handle complaints and grievances of employees and share them with the Line Manager on a regular basis.
  • Assist the Line Manager in all employee engagement activities, including birthday celebrations, picnics, corporate dinners, and other team-building activities.
  • Work on special projects as assigned by the Line Manager or Management.
  • Liaise among different departments and complete any other tasks assigned by Management.
  • Prepare various internal HR reports as required.
  • Compile or gather data from different resources for analysis.

Job Specifications:

  • Education: MBA (HR) from a reputable business school.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience working in the human resources department, preferably in a financial institution in an HR Generalist role.
  • Complete knowledge of the recruitment cycle and ability to handle it independently.
  • Maintain confidentiality of the HR department at each level.
  • Result-oriented individual with excellent listening, politeness, and cooperativeness skills.
  • Organized, multi-tasking, and an active team member with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
