Job Description

The Utilities Project Coordinator oversees the management of solar projects through the utility application process, building and maintaining internal and external relationships to drive problem-solving and successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate intake meetings with Land Sales teams to kickstart utility applications.
  • Conduct basic due diligence on project documents to ensure compliance.
  • Promote a streamlined utility application process, documenting and tracking progress according to established procedures.
  • Submit timely project applications to utilities for efficient processing.
  • Manage NES databases for all utility companies and projects, ensuring accuracy and up-to-dateness.
  • Maintain open dialogue between internal stakeholders to facilitate clear communication of project status.
  • Serve as a liaison between departments to control accountabilities and deliverables.
  • Follow up with Utility companies as necessary to address project requirements.
  • Monitor and communicate deadlines for utility applications to ensure timely completion.
  • Understand project scope and schedule field work for assigned tasks to drive productivity.
  • Upload and track utility documents for applications, ensuring seamless documentation.
  • Provide critical support to Utility Project Manager, Senior Project Coordinator, and NES teams.
  • Assess project utility costs to assist finance department with budgeting decisions.
  • Revise and improve project process-related documents and training materials to enhance team performance.
  • Coordinate purchase orders for project-specific payments, streamlining financial processes.
