Job Overview

The QA Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring that healthcare services meet established standards of quality and regulatory requirements. This position involves monitoring patient care processes, conducting audits, collecting data, reviewing clinical practices, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Planning: Assist in planning the quality assurance program, systems, and processes to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Liaison Role: Act as a resource and liaison between departments to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Clinical Indicators: Develop, maintain, and monitor clinical indicators to inform OPPE decisions in collaboration with medical and surgical departments.
  • Data Analysis: Coordinate, compile, and analyze institutional dashboard indicators, JCIA library of measures, clinical measures, managerial measures, International Patient Safety Goals, and departmental KPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Audits: Conduct and coordinate internal and external quality audits, compile audit results, and implement action plans accordingly to ensure continuous quality improvement.
  • Resource Optimization: Adopt best practices for proper utilization of existing resources to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Quality Document Review: Review all quality documents and content timely to ensure up-to-date authentication and accuracy.
  • Employee Training: Ensure all employees receive required trainings to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Quality Projects: Assist in identifying development and documentation of quality projects to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: MBBS/BSN degree is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, with at least 1 year in a similar role.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Technology Utilization: Ability to utilize current and emerging technology efficiently is necessary.
