Senior Industrial Engineering Professional

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Specialist Engineer to join our team of highly skilled professionals. As a Senior Specialist Engineer – Industrial Engineering, you will be responsible for providing expert-level guidance and support to various departments within the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough time studies, line balancing, and process flow analyses to optimize high-volume appliance production lines.
  • Perform detailed plant capacity calculations to inform production scalability and investment planning decisions.
  • Develop and implement man-hour analysis, headcount planning, and overtime forecasting strategies to ensure efficient resource deployment.
  • Create and optimize production line layouts to maximize efficiency and ergonomic compliance.
  • Implement lean manufacturing practices such as 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, SMED, and other methodologies to minimize waste and enhance throughput.
  • Utilize data visualization tools and AI-enabled analytics platforms to monitor, forecast, and report on real-time KPIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support automation and Industry 4.0 adoption initiatives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in process planning, work instruction development, and trial runs for new product introductions.
  • Use simulation tools and AutoCAD to model and improve production flows.
  • Design and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work standards, and training documentation.
  • Analyze and report on KPIs such as labor efficiency, productivity, OEE, and downtime.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering (mandatory).
  • 6–8 years of experience in industrial engineering within white goods/home appliances or similar discrete manufacturing industries.
  • Strong proficiency in plant capacity planning, MH/HC/OT analysis, and labor productivity modeling.
  • Expertise in AutoCAD, MOST, and industrial simulation tools.
  • Experience with data visualization and AI tools for manufacturing analytics.
  • Familiarity with SAP systems in a factory environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, statistical analysis, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
