Job Title: Digital Transformation Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Digital Transformation Strategist to oversee and own a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring their successful digital transformation journey with our Backbase platform.

This role involves working closely with the Customer Success Manager and Delivery Manager on multiple accounts, providing strategic guidance and support throughout the implementation process.

You will serve as the key technical contact and advisor to our customers, leveraging your expertise to explain technical details and requirements to non-technical stakeholders.

About the Role

  • Define and drive clients' overall digital strategy using your technical and product expertise.
  • Address product-related queries in a timely manner, engaging various stakeholders within the Backbase organization.
  • Travel to clients and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including lead architects and C-level executives.
  • Act as an internal advocate for the client, bringing the voice of the customer into the rest of the Backbase organization.
  • Identify opportunities for better product adoption, provide guidance on best practices, and help align client requirements with our R&D roadmap.
  • Collaborate with R&D to gather customer feedback and identify potential new features or products.
  • Analyze customer needs and suggest upgrades or additional features to meet their requirements.
  • Work closely with Technical Support, Product Engineering, and Project Implementation teams to ensure successful implementations.

Your Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience and 5 years of Technical Account Management experience with a solid technical background.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills to convey complex concepts effectively.
  • Solid technical background with hands-on experience building and designing enterprise software, preferably in digital transformation projects within financial institutions.
  • Experience with our technology stack: Java, Spring, Maven, Gradle, Angular, Kotlin, Cloud Deployments, Docker, Kubernetes, and Swift. Cloud certification (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect) is a plus.
  • Strong view on technical architectures and ability to collaborate with product engineering teams.
  • Advocate for Agile methodologies and ability to explain its pros and cons.
  • BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
  • Fluency in English.
