Project Coordinator

A seasoned project coordinator is required to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of project management principles, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule projects efficiently, ensuring timely completion.
  • Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Interpret and explain plans, contracts, and regulatory requirements to administrative staff, workers, and clients, representing the owner or developer.
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts, revisions, and changes with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution, with preference given to candidates holding higher education in Construction Management or Project Management.
  • At least 6-8 years of experience in project management, preferably in the education, healthcare, research, or public health sectors.
  • Proven track record in project management, process improvement, and budget management, with certification in Project Management being a significant asset.
  • Extensive knowledge of infrastructure development and practical experience in project management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting and independently.
