About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee our financial operations from Islamabad, Pakistan. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, collaborating with internal and external auditors, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed financial statements, business plans, and budget reports.
  • Collaborate with internal or external auditors to identify and address financial irregularities.
  • Provide expert advice on tax planning and management, including filing of tax returns.
  • Oversee accounting processes and systems, ensuring they are efficient and compliant.
  • Ensure that all financial activities align with UK regulations.
  • Develop and present monthly financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Analyze company systems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Offer expert financial guidance to support business decisions.
  • Identify and prevent fraudulent activities.
  • Compile and present reports following internal audits.
  • Manage financial management reports, including financial planning and forecasting.
  • Prepare Corporation Tax computations and Company Tax Returns.
  • Accounting and auditing services.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated interest in business and finance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in IT systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Negotiation and decision-making skills.
  • Strategic planning and numeracy skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field.
  • Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
  • Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
  • Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT).
  • Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA).
  • Essential experience working in a UK-based firm.

Work Arrangements:

This is a remote position, requiring the ability to work within GMT hours (08:00 – 17:00). A market-competitive salary package will be offered.
