Job Overview:

The role of Senior Financial Operations Manager is pivotal in ensuring the organization's financial transparency, accuracy, and alignment with strategic objectives.

This senior-level position oversees the preparation, analysis, and timely submission of financial statements and regulatory reports, adhering to applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

  • Preparation of Company's statutory financial statements along with related notes & disclosures as per the timelines provided by senior management.
  • Preparation of Company's monthly management financial statements along with related notes & disclosures as per the timelines provided by senior management.
  • Accounting for all related party transactions with complete documentation and disclosed as per statutory requirements and company's internal policies.
  • Ensuring that statutory audit is concluded within agreed timelines with minimum audit observations.
  • Establishing relationships with bank relationship managers to ensure availability of funds at PCICL through provision of required documents.
  • Staying updated with changes in financial regulations and standards to maintain compliance.
  • Liaising with auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders to address queries and concerns.
  • Safekeeping of legal documents mainly pertaining to funds/facilities.
  • Ensuring bank reconciliations with general ledger at each month-end.
  • Maintenance of chart of accounts and ledger reconciliations such as cost center income/expenses, payables/receivables, and other departmental income/expenses etc.
  • Performing any other assignments assigned by Head of Department or senior management.

Requirements:

ACCA or CA Inter with at least 6 years of experience (Articles included) OR Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or equivalent with 7 years of experience in the financial sector.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, SBP regulations, and financial compliance requirements in Pakistan.
  • Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial reporting software
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and multicultural environment.
