Job Overview

This role combines technical project management and leadership skills to drive agile software development projects forward.

  • Project Leadership:
    • Develop and manage project scope, budget, and timeline in alignment with agile principles.
    • Monitor project progress and address risks or roadblocks proactively.
  • Guide the team on agile and scrum practices, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Facilitate scrum ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between the team, stakeholders, and product owners.
  • Implement agile processes efficiently, balancing flexibility with structure.
  • Create comprehensive project documentation including user stories, acceptance criteria, sprint plans, and release notes.
  • Present reports to stakeholders on project status, progress, and key metrics.
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to understand technical challenges, identify solutions, and make informed decisions.
  • Engage in end-to-end testing activities to identify issues prior to the completion of sprints.
  • Identify and flag issues found at any stage of the development lifecycle.
  • Draft test cases and document results to build and manage testing repository.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager/Scrum Master in Agile software development projects.
  • Strong understanding of Scrum framework, Agile principles, and Lean thinking.
  • Excellent facilitation and coaching skills, guiding teams through conflict resolution and decision-making processes.
  • Solid knowledge of Agile and Scrum metrics, and experience in using them to track team performance and progress.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, communicating effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative team culture, promoting trust, respect, and accountability.
  • Experience in applying Agile engineering practices and tools, such as continuous integration, test-driven development, and automated testing.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to navigate through ambiguity and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, identifying and addressing issues proactively.
  • Continuous learning mindset, staying updated with the latest Agile trends and practices.
  • Deep understanding of business domain and user needs.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Aptitude for learning and adapting to new technologies and processes.
