Job Title: Data Protection Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in UK GDPR, NHS compliance, and IT security. As our Data Protection Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the secure handling of sensitive patient data across the UK and Pakistan.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and developing comprehensive policies and procedures.
  • Liaising with UK board members and NHS partners to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Providing expert advice on data protection and cybersecurity best practices to teams across the organization.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3-7 years' experience in data protection, compliance, or IT security.
  • Practical knowledge of UK GDPR, including DPIAs, Subject Access Requests (SARs), and Records of Processing Activities (RoPA).
  • Awareness of Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001 standards.
