Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and schedule patient appointments accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established protocols using scheduling software and electronic medical records systems.
- Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information to ensure accuracy and completeness, updating patient records as necessary.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients scheduling appointments, answering incoming calls and responding to patient inquiries.
- Deliver high-quality customer service by demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and patience, addressing patient concerns and resolving scheduling conflicts.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, nurses, and other staff members to schedule appointments that accommodate patient needs and provider availability.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality, adhering to HIPAA guidelines when handling patient information and medical records.
