The Virtual Medical Scheduler role is a critical component of our healthcare operations.

Job Overview
  • This position involves coordinating and scheduling patient appointments to ensure seamless interactions between medical staff, patients, and office management.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex scheduling logistics.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments for medical consultations, exams, tests, and treatments.
  • Communicate appointment details to patients via phone, email, and text, providing reminders for upcoming appointments.
  • Ensure that all appointment times are coordinated with the medical staff's availability and adjust schedules as necessary.
  • Assist in rescheduling appointments when necessary, accommodating patient and provider needs while maintaining office efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and appointment logs, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Address and resolve patient scheduling issues, such as cancellations, no-shows, or scheduling conflicts.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in medical office administration or scheduling is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and office software (e.g., EHR/EMR systems) is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules.
  • Medical Degree is a must-have.
Work Arrangements
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST | Wednesday: 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM EST.
  • Location: Remote, with frequent interactions with patients and medical staff via phone, email, and text.
