Industrial Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Industrial Designer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for industrial design, a deep understanding of the latest trends, and a proven track record of delivering successful products in the tech industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative and aesthetically pleasing designs for new products.
  • Develop initial concept sketches, renderings, and 3D models that effectively communicate design ideas, taking into consideration user experience, functionality, and manufacturability.
  • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software and rapid prototyping tools to create detailed 3D models and functional prototypes for testing and validation.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify user needs, market trends, and competitive research to create innovative products.
  • Participate in user testing and research activities to gather feedback and iterate designs to improve usability, functionality, and user satisfaction.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements and innovations in industrial design, materials, and manufacturing processes to integrate new technologies and practices into product design efforts.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet project timelines and budgets.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of design specifications, materials, and production processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (at least 6 months -1 year) as an Industrial Designer in the tech industry, designing consumer products or electronic devices.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of creative, user-centered design solutions with a focus on technological products.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, 3dsmax, AutoCAD, Keyshot and other design tools.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials, including plastic injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, and electronic assembly.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and justify design concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to think critically and solve complex design problems by balancing aesthetic, technical, and functional considerations.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with human factors and ergonomics in product design.
  • Understanding of usability principles and experience conducting user research and testing.
