About the Role:

The Talent Development Company is seeking an experienced Field Sales Professional to drive sales and build strong customer relationships within our assigned territory.

This role focuses on selling products to hotels, restaurants, and cafes in the sector, identifying new business opportunities, providing product demonstrations, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will also be responsible for processing orders, reconciling customer ledgers, and increasing product sales while expanding the customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assess market opportunities and competitor activities to develop effective customer acquisition strategies.
  2. Provide samples and presentations to influence purchasing decisions and promote our products.
  3. Collect customer orders and ensure timely delivery of products to meet their needs.
  4. Manage customer requests and ensure product availability according to their requirements.
  5. Follow up with customers on outstanding payments in a professional and courteous manner.
  6. Regularly reconcile customer ledgers in support of the finance team to maintain clear and accurate financial records.
  7. Ensure proper documentation of sales transactions, credits, and payments.
  8. Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships.
  9. Offer after-sales support and gather customer feedback for continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Proven sales experience in the food industry, preferably with a focus on hospitality.
  2. Familiarity with local markets and understanding of customer behavior.
  3. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. 2-3 years of experience in field sales, especially within the food industry.
