Technical Project Manager Position

As a Technical Project Manager, you will lead and manage multiple complex programs of work. Your responsibilities will include managing large concurrent technology programs or portfolios, being highly organized and detail-oriented, and exhibiting excellent communication skills for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage multiple large concurrent technology programs or portfolios to achieve long-term business objectives that are complex and integrated.
  2. Be highly organized and detail-oriented; self-motivated, and able to work independently to define, plan, and execute technical projects.
  3. Exhibit excellent communication skills for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform, and influence outcomes.
  4. Work independently to define, plan, and execute technical projects; distill data and articulate rationale for making difficult trade-offs and prioritizations.
  5. Motivate teams to solve problems and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment across multiple geographies.
  6. Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to drive large-scale technical delivery at all levels of the organization.
  7. Have experience using planning and task management tools (Gantt, Jira) and common project management practices to support delivery objectives.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  1. Lead program delivery to support long-term business objectives that are complex and integrated.
  2. Create clear scope definition across all areas of the program, including planning, communications, change management, and implementation.
  3. Design, develop, and manage complex integrated roadmaps and delivery plans in a dynamic environment that is constantly adapting to changing needs.
  4. Partner with stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical thought leadership while driving program delivery; produce program reporting to executive stakeholders on status and health.
  5. Capture, resolve, and escalate risk & impediments to ensure program delivery continues effectively; ensure timely delivery.
  6. Support senior-level executives and create C-level presentation materials to communicate program-level status and information.
  7. Run agile ceremonies and maintain a healthy team backlog and process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in product or program management with end-to-end product and/or service delivery.
  • 3+ years of experience overseeing roadmap strategy, definition, improvement, and measurement.
