Job Overview

Professional Development Lead - Learning Strategist

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Professional Development Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Academics Team, you will be responsible for driving educational excellence across two schools in Karachi.

  • Develop and implement effective teaching resources and frameworks aligned with international curricula and best practices.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement among teachers through regular training sessions, co-teaching, and model teaching.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support individual teacher development.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Teaching Resource Development
    • Design and deliver high-quality teaching resources, including lesson plans, activity sheets, and assessments, tailored to the needs of students and teachers.
    • Maintain accurate records of student progress and identify areas for improvement.
  2. Teacher Support and Culture
    • Foster a collaborative learning environment by facilitating weekly planning meetings, co-teaching sessions, and peer observations.
    • Support teachers in developing their content and pedagogical skills through personalized coaching and mentoring.
  3. Reporting, Monitoring, and Evaluation
    • Analyze assessment data to inform instructional decisions and drive student achievement.
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on student progress and program effectiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area or related field.
  • At least 5 years of teaching experience, with a proven track record of improving student outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum design, instructional strategies, and educational technology.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
