Primary School Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced educational leader to spearhead our school's growth in Rawalpindi Cantonment. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting high standards of learning and teaching, recruiting and developing teachers, and fostering a culture of mutual respect and collaboration.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Promote evidence-based best practices in education by monitoring school progress and improving student outcomes.
  • Recruit, develop, empower, support, encourage, and retain the best teaching professionals in the school.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous learning, respect, and collaboration among all members of the school community.
Academic Duties:
  • Attract high-quality teachers through a fair and transparent selection process.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive school improvement plan based on needs analysis and ensure its effective implementation.
  • Maintain classroom quality through lesson planners and formal/informal observations.
  • Provide professional development opportunities for teachers through demo sessions and regular feedback.
  • Monitor student performance by reviewing assignments and test papers as per policy.
  • Organize, manage, and monitor co-curricular activities, timetables, assemblies, periods, displays, libraries, and laboratories.
  • Participate in training sessions and conduct on-the-job training for faculty within the school.
  • Administer term tests and examinations in a fair and timely manner.
  • Foster team spirit and motivate teachers to focus on teacher retention.
Administrative Obligations:
  • BUILD STRONG PARTNERSHIPS with the local community and promote education awareness for both male and female children.
  • Maintain an optimal student population in the school through effective enrolment strategies.
  • Engage in outreach activities with teachers and maintain a CV bank at all times.
  • Collaborate with HR teams for staff hiring, retaining, performance management, and other HR-related matters.
  • Maintain school discipline and promote positive character building among students and staff.
  • Manage staff leaves and attendance to minimize empty classroom days.
  • Supervise the administrative assistant in accounts and other matters.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date school accounting and documentation.
  • Maintain buildings and premises, supply, and manage utility services in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with supervisors for board-related matters.
  • Understand organizational policies and ensure implementation of school activities as per policy.
  • Submit reports and documents in a timely manner.
