Our organization seeks an Evaluation Expert to conduct comprehensive, participatory evaluations across a large network of schools. As an integral member of our team, you will utilize a blend of qualitative and quantitative methods – including classroom observations, interviews, surveys, assessments, and document reviews – to co-generate insights with school leaders, teachers, and learners. Your findings and recommendations will inform continuous improvement, safeguard the integrity of the evaluation process, and elevate educational outcomes in under-resourced contexts.Key Responsibilities
  • Data Collection & Synthesis: Gather rich, on-site evidence – including classroom observations, student records, surveys, and documentation – and analyze it to deliver accurate, evidence-based findings.
  • Pattern Recognition & Analysis: Identify trends, correlations, and systemic gaps within qualitative and quantitative datasets to draw well-founded conclusions about teaching, learning, and operations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate trust-based meetings and discussions with school leaders, teachers, and learners to gather insights, validate findings, and foster co-ownership of evaluation outcomes.
  • Report Preparation: Produce high-quality, concise evaluation reports in English, clearly outlining key strengths, areas for growth, and actionable, data-driven recommendations.
  • Feedback & Presentation: Share findings with school leadership in a clear, solution-oriented manner – ensuring mutual understanding, buy-in, and commitment to next steps.
  • Sensitive Conversation Management: Handle divergent viewpoints with professionalism, impartiality, and empathy – managing sensitive discussions to maintain trust and respect.
  • Ethical Integrity: Uphold principles of neutrality, fairness, transparency, and confidentiality at all times, vigilantly avoiding conflicts of interest.
  • Resilience & Adaptability: Thrive under pressure – juggling multiple priorities, meeting tight deadlines, and remaining flexible in dynamic, rapidly changing field environments without compromising objectivity.
