Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our high-margin digital-first ventures. As an Entrepreneur in Residence, you will be responsible for identifying attractive market opportunities and developing a compelling value proposition.

  • Market Discovery: Identify target markets and customer pain points to create business models that drive revenue growth.
  • Value Proposition and Strategy: Define a go-to-market strategy, roadmap, and financial model that includes unit economics, scaling levers, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
  • Launch and Iterate: Launch and iterate on the Minimum Lovable Product/Service (MLP/S) using low/no code tools and measure KPIs that matter.
  • Leadership Support: Lead as an interim founder until external leadership is hired and assist in recruiting and providing support to existing ventures when needed.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have a bias for action, courage under fire, and a strong get-shit-done attitude. You should also have a willingness to take ownership and get hands dirty, showcase a serious approach to tasks with a sense of urgency, love numbers and back up decisions with data, and have a relatively high happiness resting point.

  • Bias for Action: Be pragmatic, move with urgency, and focus on results. Quickly unblock yourself by finding answers and making decisions fast.
  • Courage Under Fire: Be willing to take ownership and get hands dirty. Do the full cycle from initial idea triage to pitching recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Strong Opinions, Loosely Held: Love numbers and back up decisions with data. Research new topics and track KPIs to drive evidence-based decision-making.
  • Optimism as an Operating System: Have a relatively high happiness resting point. Handle high-pressure situations with timely, composed, and candid reactions.
