Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to provide assistance in performing risk management, internal controls, and governance of Information Technology systems, business applications, and IT infrastructure.

This position requires a professional with strong technical skills and expertise in IT audit, assurance, and risk management. The incumbent will work closely with senior management to develop, manage, and execute an audit plan using a risk-based approach.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Risk Management and Internal Controls: Provide support to the Manager – IT & Infrastructure in developing the annual internal audit plan for review and approval by the Chief Internal Auditor and Audit Committee.
  • IT Audit and Assurance Assignments: Support and assist in developing internal audit and assurance assignments related to Information Technology systems and infrastructure.
  • Audit Framework and Templates: Assist in preparing an audit framework, standard templates, and checklists in the context of the approved audit plan across the organization.
  • Conduct IT Audits: Conduct IT audits covering system applications and IT processes, and prepare reports for review by the Manager.
  • Presentation and Reporting: Assist in preparing presentations for the Audit Committee to discuss internal audit reports.
  • Policy Review and Compliance: Assist in reviewing IT management policies and procedures such as change management, business continuity planning/disaster recovery, and information security to ensure adequate internal controls.
  • Compliance and Ethics: Ensure compliance with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework enforced in the company while performing job responsibilities in accordance with assigned roles.
  • Code of Conduct: Ensure compliance with the Business Principles and Ethics Policy / Code of Conduct.
  • Ongoing Assignments: Undertake any other assignments as instructed by senior management.

Candidate Requirements

We are seeking a candidate with a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field from a recognized university, with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience is also acceptable. A background in programming, especially in Python, is highly advantageous.
