Commercetools Architect

We are seeking a skilled Commercetools Architect to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with expertise in building and implementing complex e-commerce solutions using Commercetools or similar API-first MACH architectures. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering end-to-end e-commerce solutions for B2B or B2C clients, leveraging your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, and experience managing technical teams across multiple locations. Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively manage senior client stakeholders are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement industry-specific digital architecture, analyzing design, development, administration, and integration of distributed applications in web-based internet/intranet, client-server environments.
  2. Create features such as multisite delivery, content syndication, multilingual support, automated workflows, and social media integration.
  3. Provide technical leadership and oversight on implementation, assess and recommend system and process changes related to the Commerce platform.
  4. Review and set standards for design, coding, and development, ensuring cost-effective technical solutions aligned with customer needs.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years in e-commerce, with experience in solutioning and delivering B2B and B2C.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Commercetools or similar API-first MACH architectures.
  • Strong experience with AWS or other cloud infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication skills for managing senior client stakeholders.
  • Experience managing technical teams across multiple geographical locations.
