Regulatory Compliance Specialist

The role of Regulatory Compliance Specialist involves ensuring regulatory adherence, tracking regulatory rule changes, and interpreting regulations. This position requires close collaboration with product development teams to make informed decisions within a regulated framework.

This position entails identifying new business opportunities due to changing regulations, maintaining accurate documentation, and communicating with regulators, instructors, and vendors. Key responsibilities include:

  • Understanding regulatory requirements and the approval/compliance process.
  • Maintaining precise documentation of regulatory law and providing accurate information to the Product Development team.
  • Documenting regulatory-related documents and conducting research on regulatory laws & rules.
  • Working with regulators at various levels to develop knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Conducting ongoing research to meet industry compliance education requirements and performing regulatory research on new business opportunities.
  • Analyzing regulatory laws and communicating with the product development department for new course development.
Key Qualifications

Key qualifications include:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in regulatory risk and compliance management, compliance research, and knowledge of the e-learning business model.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced use of spreadsheets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an understanding of American English accent.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with regulators, accrediting agencies, and government officials.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess rules and regulations for potential business impacts.
  • Working knowledge of tracking regulatory rule changes and proposed regulations.
