Remote Interpreter Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and flexible interpreter to facilitate communication between clients and individuals with limited English proficiency.

This role involves providing interpreting services over the phone or through video calls, enabling you to work remotely from your own location. Your exceptional language skills will enable you to interpret conversations accurately and efficiently, supporting clients in various professional settings.

The Job Responsibilities:
  • Interpreting between English and another language over the phone or video.
  • Providing interpretation services to clients and customers with limited English Proficiency.
  • Interpreting for people using legal, health, and local government services.
  • Confirming the non-English speakers' understanding after each sentence.
  • Conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting.
  • Providing an accurate, confidential, and impartial interpreting service.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to a Code of Conduct.
About You:
  • You must be fluent in English and another language.
  • All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
  • You must be aged 21 or over.
  • Formal qualifications such as Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registration, or a Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages are advantageous.
  • You should be able to work flexibly to fit around your schedule.
