US Construction Estimation Client Relationship Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned expert in Client Relationship Management (CRM) to join our team and drive success in US construction estimation. As a key member of our CRM team, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring colleagues on best practices in client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver clear step-by-step guidance for the CRM team on handling client interactions from initial contact to project completion, focusing on the estimation phase.
• Establish efficient workflows for CRM team members to follow when handling client inquiries, feedback, and project updates.
• Provide hands-on training to the CRM team on interpreting and communicating construction estimation data effectively to clients.
• Mentor the team on building strong client relationships and managing expectations during the estimation and project scope phases.

Guiding CRM Processes:

o Develop and deliver clear step-by-step guidance for the CRM team on how to handle client interactions from initial contact to project completion, focusing on the estimation phase.

o Establish efficient workflows for CRM team members to follow when handling client inquiries, feedback, and project updates.

o Provide hands-on training to the CRM team on how to interpret and communicate construction estimation data effectively to clients.

Collaborating with Estimation Teams:

o Guide the CRM team on how to liaise effectively with the estimation team to gather necessary project data and translate this into client-facing communications.

o Ensure the CRM team understands the nuances of the estimation process, so they can act as knowledgeable intermediaries between clients and estimators.

Problem Solving & Conflict Resolution:

o Guide the CRM team on how to address client complaints or concerns related to estimates, delays, or project changes, providing strategies for effective issue resolution.

o Offer guidance on difficult conversations (e.g., explaining why estimates may need to change or delays in bidding) and help the CRM team find constructive solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience:

o 3-5 years in Client Relationship Management (CRM) within the US construction estimation industry, with specific knowledge in construction estimation.

o Experience in managing client relationships and guiding teams in client-facing roles within construction-related projects.

Industry Knowledge:

o Strong understanding of construction estimation processes, including takeoffs, bids, scope changes, and project timelines.

o Familiarity with construction management tools and CRM systems used in construction-related projects.

Leadership Skills:

o Proven experience in leading teams or acting as a consultant to guide teams through process improvements.

o Strong ability to mentor and train a team on both technical skills and client relationship management best practices.

o Exceptional ability to communicate complex information (e.g., estimates, bids, changes) clearly and concisely to clients.
