Join a dynamic and fast-paced team as a Trainee in our Security Operations Center (SOC).

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to assist in monitoring security alerts and logs from various sources, including SIEM tools.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and responding to security incidents, performing initial triage, and escalating incidents according to defined procedures.

Additionally, you will help analyze suspicious activities, provide basic threat intelligence, document incident response steps and findings, participate in vulnerability assessments and security audits, and support SOC analysts in creating and updating standard operating procedures.

You will also stay updated with the latest cyber threats and trends, applying this knowledge to enhance our incident response capabilities.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and network protocols is essential.
  • Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, antivirus, and firewalls is preferred.
  • Knowledge of common threats, attack vectors, and mitigation techniques is required.
  • Ability to analyze logs and identify anomalies is crucial.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, good communication, and documentation skills are necessary.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or any SOC-specific training are beneficial.
  • Experience with Linux/Windows command-line tools is desirable.
  • Exposure to scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell is an advantage.
