At the heart of our operations, we are looking for a technical expert to spearhead the backend engineering team.

This individual will be responsible for driving growth and success within the department by playing a key role in translating business needs into a roadmap and ensuring alignment of estimates and architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Motivate and lead a distributed team of engineers, setting clear goals and driving execution on the quarterly roadmap.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, balancing workload while maintaining momentum on the roadmap and reducing technical debt.
  • Ensure high engineering standards through code reviews and feedback, fostering a culture of excellence within the team.
  • Oversee complex, high-priority technical implementations that align with business objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in backend software development at scale, with expertise in Java and Spring Framework.
  • Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems, as well as knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with CI/CD, containerization, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
