The Data Analyst for Cancer Research will be responsible for analyzing genomic and epigenomic data from various cancer types. The successful candidate will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to apply existing and novel algorithms to cancer data sets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computation and possess excellent analytical skills, including critical thinking, data modeling, problem solving, and troubleshooting. They will also have demonstrated experience in infrastructure, programming languages, and computational sciences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze genomic and epigenomic data from various cancer types">
  • Apply existing and novel algorithms to cancer data sets">
  • Present results effectively to clinicians, experimental and computational scientists">
  • Assist in the analysis of biological data using bioinformatics tools and software">
  • Perform data processing, quality control, and database maintenance">
  • Collaborate with research teams to understand their data analysis needs">
  • Support the development and implementation of data analysis pipelines">
  • Conduct basic statistical analyses and data visualization">
  • Participate in the interpretation and presentation of results">

The successful candidate will have a Master's Degree in Computational Biology or a Bachelor's Degree in Computational Biology. They will also have 0-1 year of experience in computational sciences.
