Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Business Development Specialist.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research and lead generation, with experience working in the logistics or supply chain industry.

The primary responsibility of this position is to identify new business opportunities by researching and qualifying leads within targeted industries.

This is a remote freelance role with clear performance targets and opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify businesses worldwide that ship to or from Saudi Arabia, focusing on Riyadh.
  • Generate high-quality, verified leads including company name, contact person, email, and phone number.
  • Utilize platforms like LinkedIn, trade directories, Alibaba, and Google for lead sourcing.
  • Create and maintain a weekly lead report using Google Sheets or CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team for smooth client hand-off.
  • Meet weekly lead generation targets (minimum 70-100 leads/week).
  • Maintain lead accuracy, avoid duplicates, and ensure full contact details are valid.
Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of experience working with a freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain company is required.

Familiarity with international trade directories such as Alibaba and Tradekey is necessary.

Prior experience generating leads in the logistics, shipping, or export/import sector is an asset.

Strong written communication and research skills are essential.

An understanding of sales pipelines or lead funnels is beneficial.

Self-motivation, attention to detail, and ability to meet weekly lead targets are required.
