Project Manager

The role of a Project Manager is multifaceted, involving the oversight and coordination of various teams and projects. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:
  1. Serving as a servant leader to team(s), fostering an environment where the team(s) can excel, and maintaining relationships with cross-functional teams.
  2. Encouraging open communication, transparency, and predictability while focusing on quality delivery and continuous improvement.
  3. Facilitating team growth and development, enhancing creativity, and improving efficiency.
  4. Overseeing Scrum teams, facilitating backlog refinements, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and ensuring predictable quality outcomes.
  5. Collaborating with the Product Owner and Business Analysts to maintain well-groomed product backlogs, plan sprints effectively, and coordinate with dependent teams.
  6. Resolving conflicts using Scrum values of commitment, courage, focus, openness, and respect.
  7. Maintaining Agile charts, ratios, and metrics to provide visibility and insight into team morale, quality, and productivity.
  8. Utilizing team feedback and metrics to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
  9. Cultivating best practices, tools, and successful deliverables through coaching and mentoring individuals.
  10. Providing guidance on goal setting and actions to achieve them.
  11. Shielding teams from outside distractions and interferences.
  12. Ensuring correct use of Scrum processes.
  13. Anticipating and resolving risks, dependencies, and roadblocks by collaborating with departments such as HR, PMO, IT, CS, and Management.
  14. Tracking preparation work required for future sprints, including backlog refinement and removal of showstopper impediments.
  15. Acting as a career coach to help team members understand their natural talents, strengths, and competencies, and guiding them towards their fullest potential.
  16. Built knowledge of US Healthcare IT domain – Providing feedback on documentation and UXI.
  17. Close collaboration with Client Services to monitor Support tickets SLAs and opportunities for improvements.
  18. Cultivating Agile Practices and Scrum Values in teams.
  19. Resolving inter-team and intra-team conflicts, impediments, and roadblocks.
  20. Creating communication channels between the organization, Product Owner, developers, and stakeholders.
  21. Implementing Processes and Policies.
For this position, we require:
  • 9-12 years of relevant Software development experience with a solid delivery track record.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer, Engineering, Management Sciences, or other relevant degree.
  • Strong knowledge of Software Engineering, SDLC, Agile frameworks, DevOps, and processes.
  • Proven experience in coaching teams through Values, Project Management standards, Engineering best practices, quality assurance, backlog management, and team performance metrics.
  • Knowledge and understanding of backlog tracking, burn-down metrics, velocity, and task definition.
  • Excellent presentation, coaching, and engagement skills to inspire and influence teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in US Healthcare IT industry project delivery will be preferred.
  • Enterprise level Software as Service (SaaS) Product development experience will be preferred.
  • Candidates with a demonstrated track record of consistent, long-term career commitments will be preferred.
  • Masters in Project Management or PMP, PSM, CSM, S@S, SAFe certification(s) will be preferred.
