Accounting Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the daily operations of our accounting department.

  • Manage and supervise accounting processes, including month-end and year-end closing, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity, etc.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data, producing timely and accurate financial reports or statements as required.
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Assign projects and direct staff to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Meet financial accounting objectives, maintaining fiscal files and records to document transactions.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven working experience as Accounting Manager.
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
  • Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.

  • Effective management of accounting staff.
