Procurement Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Procurement Manager to join our organization. As a key member of the procurement team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and compliant procurement processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government or semi-government procurement, with expertise in PPRA Rules and Government Policies/SROs.

  • Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare Commercial Evaluations after technical evaluation, and place LOIs/POs and SPOs in a timely manner.
  2. Evaluate bids and ensure compliance with PPRA Rules at all stages.
  3. Prioritize and assign cases to subordinates based on urgency.
  4. Supervise the preparation of contracts and ensure their execution according to tender terms and conditions.
  5. Release and resolve Bid Bond & PBG related matters.
  6. Create Purchase Requisitions in Oracle ERP and enlist suppliers accordingly.
  7. Manage item codes in the item master.
  8. CORRESPONDENCE WITHIN THE ORGANIZATION TO RESOLVE VARIOUS QUERIES AND ENSURE COMPLIANCE TO PPRA RULES, SOPs, AND MANAGEMENT DIRECTIVES.
  9. Validate Proprietary approvals and Pre-Qualification criteria.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in government or semi-government procurement.
  • Strong knowledge of PPRA Rules and Government Policies/SROs.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
