Business Continuity Management Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Business Continuity Management (BCM) professional to lead the implementation of ISO 22301-based BCMS. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of business impact analysis, continuity planning, crisis management, and organizational resilience strategies.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Implement BCMS Frameworks: Develop and maintain BCMS frameworks aligned with ISO 22301 standards.
  2. Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA): Assess critical business functions and dependencies to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  3. Develop Business Continuity Plans (BCP): Create comprehensive BCPs, disaster recovery strategies, and response procedures to ensure continuity capabilities.
  4. Conduct Risk Assessments and Implement Mitigation Strategies: Identify and mitigate risks associated with BCMS, ensuring compliance with ISO 22301 standards.
  5. Support BCMS Certification Audits and Regulatory Assessments: Assist organizations in preparing for BCMS certification audits and regulatory assessments.
  6. Provide Training and Awareness Programs: Offer training and awareness programs to clients on BCMS best practices, ensuring a culture of continuity within the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:
  1. Master's or Bachelor's Degree: In Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. ISO 22301 Lead Implementer / Lead Auditor: Required certification.
  3. Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP): Preferred qualification.
  4. 6-8 Years of Experience: In BCMS consulting or related roles.
  5. Practical Experience: In ISO 22301 implementation, BIA, DR planning, and BCMS assessments.
  6. Familiarity with IT Compliance Standards: ISO 27001, COBIT, and NIST, NCA, SAMA.
  7. Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex business continuity issues and develop effective solutions.
  8. Proven Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
