Job Title: Lead Manager IT Audit

As a seasoned IT audit professional, you will play a pivotal role in conducting annual audits to assess internal controls, identify areas for improvement, and recommend actionable solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in preparing comprehensive internal audit reports that provide valuable insights into operational processes and functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement an annual risk-based internal audit plan for technical operations, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  2. Participate in audit planning meetings to understand risks and define roles, fostering collaboration across departments.
  3. Prepare pre-audit presentations for senior management, effectively communicating key findings and recommendations.
  4. Assist in identifying risks and controls, and prepare audit programs, utilizing your analytical skills to inform strategic decision-making.
  5. Ensure risk assessments and audit plans are in place, maintaining a proactive approach to audit compliance.
  6. Perform audit fieldwork according to the plan, executing procedures and tests with precision and attention to detail.
  7. Document controls and test their effectiveness, ensuring quality standards are met.
  8. Conduct risk-based operational audits to maximize performance and control, driving business growth through informed decision-making.
  9. Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and standards, maintaining a strong reputation for integrity and ethics.
  10. Audit physical operations, including Cathodic Protection, ROW, DI shop, and pipeline rehabilitation, providing critical insights into operational efficiency.
  11. Evaluate operational policies for risk and establish mitigating controls, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  12. Monitor audit processes to ensure thoroughness with minimal disruption, balancing the need for accuracy with the demands of operational efficiency.
  13. Develop understanding of activities, risks, and controls for audit quality, continually refining your expertise to meet evolving organizational needs.
  14. Assess compliance and document findings accurately, providing clear and actionable recommendations for improvement.
  15. Prepare audit reports and submit for review and approval, leveraging your communication skills to convey complex information in a concise and accessible manner.
  16. Monitor KPIs and recommend improvements, using data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.
  17. Work with departments to implement audit recommendations and follow up, fostering a collaborative environment that drives business outcomes.
  18. Identify and communicate risks from audit observations, promoting a proactive approach to risk management.
  19. Ensure compliance with Enterprise Risk Management Framework and company policies, maintaining a commitment to excellence and integrity.
