Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field is required to excel as an accounting specialist. The ideal candidate will assist in monthly account closing, including financial statement preparation, supporting schedules, tax computations and other associated matters.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Assisting with daily operations such as receivables consolidation, invoice and payment processing, and data entry into the accounting system.
- Ensuring all financial data is timely, accurate and complete.
- Preparing monthly reconciliation schedules and following up on outstanding items such as creditors, debtors, bank accounts and intercompany reconciliation.
Essential Skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong command over Excel and proficiency in Odoo ERP software.
This position requires a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles along with excellent organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently as well as part of a team to achieve company goals.
