Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to utilize their skills in managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, be proficient in accounting software like QuickBooks & ERP and possess advanced MS Excel skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports, coordinating with auditors and other stakeholders and monitoring financial performance.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
  2. At least 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  4. Maintain day-to-day accounting activity in bank and cash records.
  5. Maintain payables and receivables and follow up on payments.
  6. Knowledge of labor laws and tax matters.
  7. Prepare payroll and manage petty cash.
  8. Correspondence with providers, banks and customers with respect to receivables and payables.
  9. Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks & ERP.
  10. Advanced MS Excel skills.
