Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

A UK-based university is looking to enhance its international presence. The institution offers various programs for students interested in studying in the UK. Its mission is to provide high-quality study programs that cater to the needs of international students and help them achieve their maximum potential in UK higher education.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist in implementing the university's marketing and recruitment strategy in Pakistan.
  • In collaboration with the Director, devise and execute market plans to increase the university's profile and market share in the Pakistan student recruitment market.
  • Develop a specified number of new recruitment sources, particularly schools and colleges.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders, including agents, feeder institutions, British Overseas Missions, and British Council offices.
  • Conduct training sessions for counselors at agent offices and hold interview sessions as required.
  • Interview potential applicants and conduct information seminars and presentations when necessary.
  • Maintain regular contact with the active agent network.
  • Participate in fairs and exhibitions as required.
  • Engage in conversion activities to convert inquiries into applicants, applicants into acceptances, and acceptances into enrollments.
  • Liaise with the university's admissions office and International Officer to ensure the rapid turnaround of applications and a high level of service to agents and applicants.
  • Produce monthly activity plans and reports to the Director.
  • Support market research to inform and enhance international student recruitment from the region.
  • Ensure the execution of strategy and market plans meet targets within designated countries.
  • Prepare trip proposals prior to all trips, including proposed expenditure, for approval by the Director.
  • Collaborate with the Director in the overall management of resources and implementation of the international strategy in the region.
  • E nsure all marketing activities and spend are undertaken to maximize recruitment and minimize cost per student recruitment.
  • Travel to designated areas as required (up to 4 weeks on the road per trip and up to 25 weeks on the road per year) to undertake target-based recruitment activities. Weekend work may be involved.
