Job Title: Overseas Placement Promotional Activities Coordinator

The Overseas Placement Promotional Activities Coordinator is responsible for developing, organizing and participating in overseas placement promotional activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Liaise with overseas agents to facilitate the overseas applications process and ensure they are up-to-date on company developments.
  2. Maintain overseas reference documents related to key destinations and provide advice and recommendations to enable staff to correctly gauge qualifications of prospective overseas jobs.
  3. Provide comprehensive information on salary packages, allowances, taxes, accommodation and traveling requirements to potential clients.
  4. Offer professional support and advice on recruitment to line and departmental managers, including advising on best practice recruitment and selection.
  5. Prepare job descriptions and person specifications, as well as write job advertisements and decide on advertising channels.
  6. Design or revise application forms, develop online processes and prepare other recruitment materials as needed.
  7. Develop creative recruitment solutions if the organisation experiences difficulties attracting suitable staff.
  8. Screen application forms, shortlist applicants and devise, run and evaluate selection processes, including interviews and psychometric tests.
  9. Stay up-to-date with current employment legislation and brief line managers on any relevant changes.
  10. Run selection centers for graduate recruitment and more senior vacancies, and train staff in interviewing techniques.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, preferably Human Resources.
  2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in HR and recruitment, ideally in an overseas placement agency setting.
  3. Familiarity with overseas placement processes and procedures.
  4. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  5. Established professional contacts within the IT industry.
