Contractual Expertise Wanted:

Our team is seeking a highly skilled Contractual Expert to oversee and ensure the successful execution of complex projects within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Utilities, and Manufacturing industries.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, managing, and mitigating contractual risks to guarantee seamless project execution. With innovative data-driven solutions, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to transformative projects that drive operational efficiency and exceed client expectations.

  • Review and manage contract documents strictly in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Discuss highlighted risks with stakeholders and communicate commercial risks effectively.
  • Ensure Purchase Orders or Subcontract Agreements issued to vendors align with customer contractual requirements.
  • Facilitate awareness sessions or workshops to eliminate knowledge gaps regarding contractual legal terms.
  • Maintain INTECH standard templates for procurement teams.
  • Update Customer and Supplier Risk Profile Dashboards.
  • Provide consultative support to project teams while drafting various letters or notices, claims negotiation, variation orders, disputes or conflicts resolution with customers or vendors at Post-award Stage.
  • Ensure Master Risks Registers for both Customer and Suppliers are updated and maintained.
  • Comply with contracts review process for reviewed contract agreements.
  • Maintain contractual log to store reviewed contract documents in the computerized system.
  • Facilitate Lead Contracts to update inter-departmental processes or frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001 OHSMS & CSIA (Control System Integrators Association).

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • 3+ years of experience in contract management, governance, and compliance, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or LLB.
  • Strong understanding of contractual and legal frameworks, including FIDIC, NEC, PPRA, and PEC standard documents.
  • Proficiency in contract review, interpretation, and drafting.
  • Knowledge of insurance-related matters, governance, and commercial law.
