We are seeking a skilled Community Health Specialist to join our team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to address immunization barriers in the community. This will involve identifying target audiences, behavioral determinants, and key messaging to promote zero-dose and under-immunized children's health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and adapt an SBCC strategy tailored to community needs and cultural context.
  • Identify key indicators on SBCC data and analyze it to inform training modules.
  • Conduct stakeholder consultations as needed and provide regular feedback to program lead.
  • Determine training needs of staff and train frontline workers, community mobilizers, and local health staff on interpersonal communication and community engagement.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5 – 6 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and Inpage.
  • Mastery of editing/designing IEC material.
  • Excellent command over English and Urdu.
  • A good quality android phone for taking pictures.
Education

A Masters degree in Communication, Social Sciences, or a relevant area is required.
