We are a dynamic e-commerce organization seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Social Media Marketing Strategist.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in social media management, content creation, and influencer marketing. With a minimum of 5 years of experience, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media campaigns that drive brand growth and engagement.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and writing engaging, platform-specific content for social media channels
  • Serving as the first point of contact for influencers and Amazon affiliates
  • Proactively growing our target audience by engaging with posts from affiliates, influencers, and community members
  • Collaborating closely with our Founder to co-develop the overall content calendar
  • Staying ahead of social media trends, platform updates, and audience behaviors

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess exceptional communication skills, outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and creative & strategic copywriting skills. You should also have visual & editing proficiency, skilled in creating and editing content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and influencer marketing
  • Exceptional communication skills, with outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative & strategic copywriting skills, with the ability to craft compelling social media captions, engaging newsletter content, thoughtful influencer outreach, and scroll-stopping video scripts
  • Visual & editing proficiency, skilled in creating and editing content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
  • Organizational & planning excellence, demonstrated ability to build and manage content calendars, plan ahead for campaigns, and organize UGC and influencer content in a structured, timely, and strategic manner

Reporting Structure: Reports directly to Founder.

Hours: Full-time. Must be able to work Australian business hours (AEST) with at least 4 hours of overlap, particularly during onboarding phase.
