Cloud Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and contribute to multiple projects in the role of Cloud Specialist.

This position requires technical leadership for a team of engineers focusing on development, deployment, and operations.

You will interact technically with stakeholders impacting customers and business, and lead others to solve complex problems.

The ideal candidate will have experience migrating and re-engineering existing services from on-premises data centers to Cloud platforms (GCP/AWS).

You will understand business requirements and provide real-time solutions using project development tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and GIT.

A successful candidate will have experience writing Python/Shell scripts to automate operations and server management, and building and maintaining operational tools for monitoring, notifications, trending, and analysis.

In this role, you will define, create, test, and execute operational procedures, and document current and future configuration processes and policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership for a team of engineers.
  • Lead and contribute to multiple pods with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
  • Interact technically with stakeholders impacting customers and business.
  • Lead others to solve complex problems.
  • Migrate and re-engineer existing services from on-premises data centers to Cloud platforms.
  • Understand business requirements and provide real-time solutions.
  • Utilize project development tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and GIT.
  • Write Python/Shell scripts to automate operations and server management.
