Junior .NET Developer Job Description

At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior .NET Developer to join our team.

We are looking for an individual with experience in .NET Core, MVC, Micro services, Entity Framework, Vue JS (or other JS frameworks like React or Angular) who can help us upgrade existing websites and applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and be able to write scalable code for .NET software applications. Additionally, they should be familiar with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.

Responsibilities:

  • Upgrade existing .NET websites and applications.
  • Develop scalable code for .NET software applications.
  • Analyze system requirements and delegate development tasks.
  • Review and debug .NET applications.
  • Draft software and application operating procedures.

Requirements & Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience with .NET development (MVC / Core).
  • Proficient in at least one .NET language (e.g., C#, Visual Basic .NET).
  • Familiarity with Entity Framework and ADO.NET for database interaction.
  • Solid understanding of OOP principles and design patterns.
  • Practical knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap, and Axios for client-side development.
  • Basic understanding of front-end frameworks like Angular or Vue.js (exposure or training is sufficient).
  • Understanding of REST API development.
  • Experience with T-SQL Programming and database design in MS SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman.
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git (e.g., GitHub, GitLab) or TFS (Team Foundation Server).
  • Exposure to issue-tracking tools such as JIRA.
  • Awareness of ASP.NET Web Forms development.
  • An understanding of Twilio programmable communication APIs is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
