Customer Support Professional

The primary responsibility of the Customer Support Professional is to deliver exceptional service by providing accurate, valid and complete information to customers. This involves using the right methods/tools to respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise.

Key qualifications for this role include a high school diploma or equivalent and 0-3 years of experience in customer-facing roles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to succeed in this position.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field and be able to rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Responsibilities include greeting customers warmly and ascertaining the reason for calling, processing orders, preparing correspondences and fulfilling customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.

The target is to maintain excellent service standards and meet personal/team sales targets and call handling quotas. The Customer Support Professional will also be required to keep records of customer interactions and file documents accordingly.

Other key responsibilities include suggesting solutions when a product malfunctions, informing customers of deals and promotions and selling products and services. The ability to work under immediate supervision and follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies is also essential.
