Project Financial Manager

The role of Project Financial Manager involves overseeing the financial management, compliance, and reporting for donor-funded development initiatives. This position ensures transparency, accountability, and alignment with donor and regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure financial management for donor-funded projects and other initiatives aligns with accounting standards, donor requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Establish financial setups and controls for development projects to facilitate transparent fund tracking.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all project activities.
  • Collaborate with project managers and leadership to develop and monitor budgets, ensuring alignment with donor agreements and organizational objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 4-6 years of experience in project accounting, particularly within donor-funded environments.
  • Strong understanding of financial management principles for international donors.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Key Qualifications:
  • Expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Aptitude for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
