  3. Investigating complaints related to housekeeping services and equipment, implementing corrective actions as necessary, and maintaining accurate records.
  4. Ensuring seamless operation of laundry and linen sections, including timely delivery and collection of linens, with meticulous record-keeping.
  5. Maintaining strict adherence to linen handling safety procedures and documenting daily activities.
  6. Collaborating with nursing and other departments to allocate staff according to cleaning requirements.
  7. Analyzing results to solve problems and sharing outcomes with supervisors or seeking guidance as needed.
  8. Providing written or verbal updates to supervisors, colleagues, and subordinates.
  9. Coordinating activities among clinical and non-clinical departments to achieve optimal results.
  10. Inspecting equipment and facilities to identify repair or cleaning needs and making recommendations accordingly.
  11. Hosting regular staff meetings to discuss policies, address complaints, and maintain detailed records.
  12. Issuing supplies and equipment while ensuring safe usage and maintaining accurate records.
  13. Establishing and enforcing standards and procedures for housekeeping staff.
  14. Liaising with infection control teams regarding cleaning protocols and best practices.
  15. Participating in departmental meetings and maintaining records of discussions and recommendations.
  16. Submitting monthly departmental performance reports by a designated deadline.
  17. Maintaining strict adherence to organizational codes of conduct and confidentiality policies.
  18. Developing and maintaining accurate monthly schedules and rosters, seeking approval as necessary, and ensuring smooth operations.
  19. Managing waste and sharps disposal in accordance with established policies, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  20. Maintaining the cleanliness of waste disposal areas prior to and after waste collection.
  21. Performing additional tasks assigned by the Head of Department as required.
