Finance Officer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Officer to join our team. As a Finance Officer, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial activities and ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily cash positions and ensure liquidity requirements are met.
  • Implement effective cash management strategies to optimize cash flow.
  • Monitor bank accounts, reconcile transactions, and address discrepancies promptly.
  • Develop accurate forecasts of cash flow positions and funding needs.
  • Maintain compliance with financial regulations by submitting periodic reports and calculating relevant financial ratios.
  • Collaborate in risk management efforts related to company-wide risks and interest rate risks.
  • Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for various banking services.
  • Analyze investment portfolios, identify opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Negotiate and arrange short-term and long-term loans tailored to organizational needs.
  • Prepare and manage documentation for new loan applications and annual renewal processes.
  • Ensure timely registration and vacation of securities with the relevant authorities.

Requirements:

Education: Articles completed or a part-qualified Chartered Accountant / ACCA, or a Master's degree in Finance, Business Management, or a related field.

Experience: 3-4 years of experience in advanced treasury functions.

Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in financial modeling and ERP systems, particularly SAP, ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
