We are seeking a technical support professional with profound knowledge of Linux and Windows. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in technical support, strong analytical thinking abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage support systems, live chat, phone calls, and support tickets to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Administer Linux servers, providing technical support operations including implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, security, and usage monitoring.
  • Deliver customer support by administering and maintaining web hosting services and servers to support business operations and end-users.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A problem solver with analytical thinking abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of Hosting Control Panels like cPanel, WHM, Plesk.
  • Sound knowledge of Linux servers.
  • Familiarity with WHMCS and other ticket management systems.
  • Strong command of Linux command line.
  • Knowledge of shell scripting.
  • Understanding of web technologies, platforms, applications, search engines, DNS/BIND, Email, Web server, monitoring/NMS, clustering, rDNS, email clients (Outlook/Thunderbird).
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies (Xen, XenServer, VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Ability to manage customer VPS and dedicated servers and troubleshoot reported issues.
  • Minimum 1.5 years of experience in the web hosting industry and Linux server administration.
  • Strong team player, able to work in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of computer operating systems; Linux knowledge is mandatory.
  • Able to maintain databases and server backups.
  • Able to provide excellent results and services for assigned tasks.
  • Able to work independently and report to Team Lead/Manager.
