Strategic Policy and Compliance Leader

The ideal candidate will possess a Master of Laws (LLM) degree, with a focus on Public Policy, Data Protection, or Regulatory Law.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft and implement policies, rules, and regulations
  • Develop and manage registration policies for persons, entities, and databases
  • Design processes to implement policies and give effect to laws
  • Implement compliance frameworks for privacy and data protection
  • Monitor adherence to relevant laws and manage data protection risks

 

Requirements:
  • At least 10 years of experience in legal or policy roles, including team leadership
  • Strong understanding of government workings and various ministries
  • Proven expertise in drafting policies, rules, and regulations
  • Strong background in privacy and data protection compliance
  • Certifications in Data Protection or Privacy Law preferred
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and high performance
  • Strategic thinker with strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Pakistani laws related to registration and data protection

 

Terms & Conditions:
  • Selected candidate will be hired initially for a contract period of 5 years (extendable if required)
  • Management reserves the right to accept/reject any application without assigning any reason
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview
  • Candidate shall be disqualified if false information is provided
  • 5 years' relaxation in age is already included in the above age limit
  • Selected candidate shall provide Medical Fitness and Character Certificates
  • Employees serving in Government/Semi-Government departments must provide/attach No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of submission of application
  • No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview
  • Attested educational documents from Higher Education Commission (HEC)/respective regulatory body must be provided at the time of interview. In case of foreign degree, equivalency from HEC will also be submitted
  • Females, Minority, Transgenders and Differently-abled candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Electronic gadgets, mobile phones, smart watches etc. will not be allowed during the interview
