Job Title: Technical Grid Lead

About the Role:
  • This is a leadership position that oversees all works related to assigned projects and ensures they meet client requirements and contract specifications.
  • The successful candidate will support the NOC and field technicians in handling emergencies, prepare RCA reports, and communicate with clients and stakeholders.
  • Key responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing employees engaged in installation, maintenance, and operation of telecommunication systems and support equipment.
  • Regular site visits are required to validate quality and standard execution of work by Field Technicians.
  • The ideal candidate will analyze resource requirements, make recommendations, and ensure teams have necessary tools and transportation.
  • Effective communication with clients and within the organization is essential.
  • Critical thinking, risk anticipation, and proactive problem-solving are key skills for this role.
  • The incumbent will handle fuel and spares consumption, site security updates, and cost control measures.
  • All documentation and reports must be created and shared on time.
Responsibilities:1. Project Oversight:
  • Supervise all works related to assigned projects.
  • Evaluate project progress against client requirements and contract specifications.
2. Emergency Response:
  • Support NOC and field technicians in handling emergencies.
  • Prepare RCA reports for emergencies or incidents.
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders regarding emergency responses.
3. Team Management:
  • Plan, assign, and direct employees engaged in installation, maintenance, and operation of telecommunication systems and support equipment.
  • Ensure employees have necessary tools and transportation.
4. Site Visits:
  • Regularly visit cell sites to validate quality and standard execution of work by Field Technicians.
5. Resource Management:
  • Analyze resource requirements.
  • Make recommendations to O&M Manager.
6. Communication:
  • Effectively communicate with clients and within the organization.
7. Risk Management:
  • Critically think about potential risks.
  • Anticipate and prepare solutions.
8. Cost Control:
  • Handle fuel and spares consumption.
  • Manage site security updates.
  • Control costs and ensure timely payments from clients.
9. Documentation:
  • Create and share all documentation and reports on time.
